Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the State and perused the record.
Instant petitions has been filed by petitioner with prayer for direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent nos.4 and 5 to allot registration number of UP15 DM 2500 to the petitioner's Car being Mercedes-Benz Car; Model No. E- 220B with Engine No.65492080846947 and Chassis No. WIK2131046L033848 forthwith.
The authorities concerned shall wait to the reply that as the on- line registration was still operation, as he adopted the registration number was to be on on-line and the petitioner's Car being Mercedes-Benz Car; Model No. E-220B with Engine No.65492080846947 and Chassis No. WIK2131046L033848.
There were some error in the on-line application and, therefore, registration could not be done. This was the only defect, hence we request the authority concerned to allot registration number within four weeks from today, as ply of vehicle like much to be well without registration number is not only regard us to the public, but may be the owner may not be able to procure insurance for the vehicle. With all these technical defects may be condoned by the concerned authority and we direct the respondent nos.4 and 5, to do the needful at the earliest, if there were no other impediment.
Accordingly, petition is partly allowed.
