1. This petition has been filed by the petitioners alleging that both the petitioners are major as per the date of birth mentioned in the Aadhar-Card.
2. They have solemnized marriage out of their own sweet will through a Notarized affidavit in terms of Hindu Customs which is not recognized by law.
3. The petitioners are directed to get their marriage performed as per Hindu Rites and Customs and then file an On-line application for registration of their marriage under the Rules of 2017. The parents of the family members are harassing them.
3. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S. Katghar, District Moradabad, who shall extend all help and protection to the petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
