The prayer in the writ petition is for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the 1st respondent in N.K.No.3083 of 2008 Ki.Vi. dated 11.12.2009, appointing the 2nd respondent herein as the Special Officer for the petitioner society namely MDA/HSG 140 Y.Othakadai Co-operative Housing Society and quash the same and extend the term of the existing Board of Directors till the elections are conducted.

3.The challenge made in this writ petition is against the impugned order dated 11.12.2009, passed by the first respondent. Under the said order, in the place of the erstwhile Management a Special Officer was appointed to take charge of the society concerned for a period of six months. The said impugned order has been passed on 11.12.2009 and since the Special Officer appointed is only for six months and, according to the impugned order that period had already gone and moreover the period of the erstwhile Management Board also came to an end on 11.12.2009, nothing would survive as of now in respect of the said impugned order, which was passed way back in 2009 and subsequent to that number of other proceedings seems to have issued, according to the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the question of either restoring erstwhile Board or otherwise does not arise and therefore, the import of the said impugned order cannot be decided at this stage as the same has become infructuous.
4.In view of the said facts, this Writ Petition is dismissed as nothing survives for adjudication at this juncture. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
