Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
On specific query, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned order passed by the appellate authority affirming the order of the disciplinary authority is revisable under Uttar Pradesh Police Officers of the Subordinate Ranks (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1991 In view thereof, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to take remedy of revision in accordance with the Rules. In the event, revision is filed, it is expected that the same shall be considered on merits expeditiously.
