JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has executed a work of periodical repairs of NH-208 from Kms.10/00 to 20/00 as per Ext.P2 agreement. The final bill has been withheld on account of the vigilance enquiry. The petitioner relies on Ext.P14. It is stated in Ext.P14 that the vigilance enquiry initiated against the petitioner is on account of mistake of fact.
Considering the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to disburse the final bill and also retention amount, if any, to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The question regarding interest is left open.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
