JUDGMENT / ORDER

The relief sought in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to enroll the petitioners' name in the preferential category as ex-inmates in the petitioners employment card.
2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a statement that the Government issued G.O.Ms.2535, Social Welfare Department, dated 11.10.1983 granting certain preferences in respect of appointments. However, the petitioners state that their claims were not considered in accordance with the Government orders by providing preferences in the matter of appointment.
