Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and Sri Pradeep Singh, learned counsel for the gaon sabha and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondent no. 2- Court of Commissioner, Vindhyachal Region, District Mirzapur to decide the appeal No. C201916000000349 (Sanjay Kumar Upadhyay vs. Mayank Bhushan and others) under Section 207 UP Revenue Code, 2006 pending before him within stipulated period.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is finally disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 2 to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same on its own merit, in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a period of nine months from the date of production of a self verified copy of this order and no unnecessary adjournments shall be granted to the parties provided there is no legal impediment as well as the functioning of the court is not affected by any reason related to COVID-19 Pandemic as well as the lawyers are not abstaining from the judicial work.
With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the present petition is finally disposed of.
