This writ petition, inter alia, has been filed for the following relief;
"i). Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to provide security/police protection to the society of the petitioner which is registered under the Act No. 21, 1860 which is numbered as 993/2015-16, which is involved to promote its religious activities."
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that despite the specific order passed by the concerned court below on 1.4.2019 for registering the FIR against alleged accused persons, neither any FIR is being registered nor any action is being taken against the said persons. The police is in hand in gloves with the said persons and is trying to protect them.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, Station House Officer, Police Station Chakeri, Kanpur Nagar, Respondent No. 3 is directed to strictly comply with the order dated 1.4.2019 passed by the concerned court below by registering the FIR forthwith against the accused persons in accordance with law.
With aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands finally disposed of.
