The instant writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents, particularly respondent no.2, Joint Director of Education, Meerut Region, Meerut to appoint an authorised controller to manage the affairs of the College and for conducting the election of the Committee of Management.
Learned standing counsel, on instructions from Joint Director of Education, has apprised the Court that an order appointing Principal, Rajkiya Inter College, Noida as Election Officer for conducting the election of the Committee of Management has already been passed.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are satisfied with the steps taken by the respondents and, therefore, the writ petition be disposed of directing the Election Officer to conduct the elections expeditiously.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Election Officer to ensure that the election is conducted in accordance with approved scheme of administration expeditiously.
