Heard Sri Manoj Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner is a co-operative Society. It has been ordered to be wound up by the impugned order dated 30.09.2019 passed by the Director of Matsya Jeevi Sahkari Samitiya, U.P., Lucknow.
The aforesaid order is an order passed under Section 72 (2) of the U.P. Co-operative Societies Act, 1965 and as such is appealable under Section 98 of the Act.
In view of the above alternative remedy having not been exhausted by the petitioner we do not feel inclined to exercise our discretionary jurisdiction and the writ petition is dismissed.
