JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records from the first respondent relating to the impugned order of the first respondent dated 3.1.2017 passed in Se.Mu.Aa.No.A1/59187/2016 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the respondent to return the driving license of the Petitioner to him without any remarks and to award cost.
2.Mr.S.Sathish Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.Admittedly, the Petitioner has suffered punishment of suspension for a period of six months and that the Petitioner has already suffered suspension for two months. The Petitioner has got the right of appeal within thirty days from the date of receipt of order. Since the appeal time was not over, the Petitioner is directed to prefer an appeal within the time prescribed and if any such appeal is filed within time, the authority concerned shall consider the same and pass orders within a period of seven working days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
