JUDGMENT / ORDER

The limited prayer in this Original Petition is for a direction to dispose of the interlocutary application filed by the respondent in which interim order of injunction has been granted against the defendant. The defendant has come up before this Court pointing out that inspite of filing objection and inspite of the time stipulated by the Code of Civil Procedure for disposal of the interlocutary application on merits, the court below has not done so. It is therefore prayed that there may be a direction to the court below to dispose of the I.A. on which the interim order has been passed namely, I.A.1943 of 2014 as early as possible.
2. Statutorily the court is bound to dispose of the petition within 30 days of passing the ex parte order of injunction. The petitioner has pointed out that he has filed his O.P.(C).2623/2014. 2 objection and the matter is not disposed of so far. The interim order of injunction was granted on 27.8.2014.
This Original Petition is disposed of directing the court below to take up I.A. 1943 of 2014 in O.S. 436 of 2014 and dispose it of on merits as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
