Petitioner's claim for grant of promotional pay scale was rejected by the District Magistrate, Jhansi on 6.4.2015. This order was assailed in appeal, which was allowed on 21.3.2018 by the Divisional Commissioner and a direction has been issued to reconsider the matter in light of the applicable Government Orders. Grievance is that though a period of nearly one and a half year has expired since then, but the competent authority has not taken a final decision.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that an appropriate decision would be taken by the authority competent in accordance with law in case it has not already been taken.
In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim and an appropriate order would be passed in terms of the direction of the Divisional Commissioner dated 21.3.2018, regarding his claim for grant of promotional pay scale, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
