This appeal was filed by Mata Deen son of Sri Guman against the judgment and order dated 27.08.1992 passed by Sessions Judge, Jhansi in Session Trial No. 19 of 1992.
On 20th August, 2019, as no one had appeared to represent the appellant, bailable warrants were issued to the appellant, fixing 30.09.2019.
Pursuant to the order dated 20th August, 2019, the office has placed a report of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhansi dated 18th September, 2019. The report indicates that the sole appellant (Mata Deen) has expired about 17 years ago. The report is supported by necessary documents as also statement of persons who deposed about the death of the appellant (Mata Deen) during the course of enquiry held by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhansi.
As the sole appellant has expired, the appeal stands abated.
