Order: (per the Hon’ble the Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) Looking at the prayer of the petition, it is very difficult to understand what is the relief asked for, which has no basis or correlation with the statements and averments made in the Public Interest Litigation. We, therefore, dismiss the Public Interest Litigation on the above ground.
However, liberty is given to take out a fresh petition with a clear understanding of the relief claimed having correlation with the statements and averments made in the Public Interest Litigation.
The Public Interest Litigation is accordingly dismissed.
Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand dismissed. No costs.
