Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State through Video Conferencing.

By means of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to register the F.I.R. in respect of the occurrence which he has pointed out in his representation.

For such a relief, the petitioner has statutory remedy under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. in the event of any inaction on the part of the police authorities.

Without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, the present writ petition is dismissed with the liberty of availing the statutory remedy open to him under law.
