THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a direction to the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider the request of the petitioner for change of name in the records which are produced and marked as Annexure-E, F and G.
2. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and in view of the facts of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with a direction that suitable action, if not already taken on the request made by the petitioner, shall be taken in accordance with law by the competent authority by a speaking order within four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
