The husband has filed O.P.(Divorce) No. 952/2012 on the file of the Family Court, Thrissur seeking divorce. The husband is a driver of Autorikshaw at Thrissur while the wife is a homemaker residing with her parents at Chertahla. The wife seeks transfer of O.P.(Divorce) No. 952/2012 from the Family Court, Thrissur to the Family Court, Ernakulam in the circumstances.
2. It is a virtual impossibility for the wife to travel all the way from Cherthala to Thrissur for the conduct of the case. This is especially so since she has to look after the minor children born in the wedlock. It may only be a slight inconvenience for the husband to travel from Thrissur to Ernakulam for the conduct of the case.
3. The husband has a contention that the wife has taken up a rented premises at Koratty at Thrissur. But no documents have been produced to show that the wife is presently residing at Thrissur as alleged. The fact that the wife was served at Cherthala in O.P.(Divorce) No. 952/2012 filed by the husband cannot be disputed.

4. I therefore order transfer of O.P.(Divorce) No.
952/2012 from the Family Court, Thrissur to the Family Court, Ernakulam. The Transferee Court shall issue notice to the parties and take the proceedings to a logical end soon.
The Transfer Petition is allowed.
