The petitioner is the owner of a stage carriage, bearing Registration No.KL-10 Y 1423, who was granted temporary permit on the route Nenmeni Kunnu, Kalloor Sulthan Bathery, Mannurkunnu in the vacancy of a regular stage carriage bearing Registration No. KL-11/AL 5526 up to 28.10.2014 and had made an application for re-issue of the temporary permit, by Ext.P2 dated 21.10.2014. It is submitted that no steps are taken on Ext.P2 and the temporary permit already obtained would soon expire. 2. If vacancy of stage carriage bearing Registration No.KL 11/AL 5526 is still in existence and no other person having better claim has applied for a temporary permit to operate a stage carriage in that vacancy, there will be a direction to the respondent to re-issue temporary permit of four months duration, within one week from the date of WPC.27708/2014 : 2 :
receipt of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P2. Needless to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim, if any.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
