ORDER:
This writ petition is filed with the grievance that though the petitioners have submitted their applications as far back as 22.05.2013 for grant of registration certificate for carrying on aqua culture, respondents have not been disposing of the same.
After hearing learned counsel appearing for both the parties, I am of the opinion that it would be in the interests of justice that the applications of the petitioners are disposed of expeditiously. Accordingly, respondents 2 to 4 are directed to consider the petitioners’ applications in terms of G.O.Ms.No.7, dated 16.03.2013 and communicate their decision to the petitioners within two months from the date of receipt of this order.
Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel to disposal of main petition, WPMP.No.50595 of 2014 filed by the petitioners for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
