HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.18644 OF 2014 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
2. This Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of respondents 2 to 4 in seizing the petitioner’s Meeseva main server, printer and other material from his shop situated in Tilak Street, Kakinada City.
3. The learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, submits that the petitioner has submitted explanation pursuant to the interim order of this Court dated 08.07.2014, and the Joint Collector, East Godavari District examined the same and passed order dated 19.07.2014 revoking the seizure and the Meeseva franchisee allotted to the petitioner is released. A copy of the said order dated 19.07.2014 is also said to be sent to the petitioner.
4. In that view of the matter, nothing remains in this matter for further adjudication.
5. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
