This matter was listed on 17th February 2012, 26th April 2012 and lastly on 3rd May 2012. Today, Mr Sinha, learned counsel for the insurance company makes a request for time on the ground that the papers of the appeal are not supplied to him. Normally, when a lawyer appears for a particular respondent, it is general practice that he gets copy of the appeal from the counsel for the appellant. However, in the present case though the matter was adjourned thrice, he failed to collect the papers from the appellant's counsel and prays for time on that count. This is how the matters are kept lingering and delay occurs in deciding the appeal.
While reluctantly adjourning the case, Office is directed to forward copy of this order to respondent No.2 - Oriental Insurance Company Limited.
