Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made a complaint before the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh regarding commission of gross financial irregularities by the respondent no. 2 in the matter of construction of floor and boundary wall of the university building and pursuant to the directions issued by the Chief Minister, an enquiry was ordered. The matter is being enquired by the District Magistrate, Ghazipur but the same has not made any progress. A prayer has been made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the District Magistrate, Ghazipur be directed to expedite the enquiry.
Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, we dispose of this writ petition with the direction to the District Magistrate, Ghazipur to examine the matter in accordance with law and submit his report expeditiously.
