Heard Shri Krishna Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Vinod Kant, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Shri Nimai Dass, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State.
The petitioner states that the e-lottery for grant of licence of country liquor shops is posted for 23.02.2019. It appears that the petitioner could not made a deposit of 50 per cent within the stipulated period due to severe financial crisis but approach the authority concerned to deposit the same on 29.01.2019 and has deposited it on 02.02.2019 whereas he should have deposited the same by 25.01.2019 as per the notice dated 22.01.2019.
In view thereof, the e-lottery for grant of licence of country liquor shops of the petitioner's shop situate at Gudwara, Bahedi, District Bareilly may be postponed for a week.
In the meantime, the petitioner will give full details of his application to the respondents by 25.02.2019 and his case for renewal will be considered in accordance with law.
Put up this matter as fresh on 28.02.2019.
A copy of the order may be given to Shri Nimai Dass, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel free of cost for communication and necessary compliance.
