As prayed by the learned counsel for the petitioners, he is permitted to make necessary correction in the description of the Respondent No. 3.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners, interalia, for the following reliefs:
"(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to pay the petitioners honorarium in pursuance of the report dated 17.03.2018 (Annexure-5 to this writ petition.) (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to pay the rest honorarium month to month for the petitioners which become due till date."
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Anil Babu, learned counsel for the Respondents No. 2 and 3 and perused the record.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the dues of the petitioners, who are Para Legal Volunteers, have not been paid till date by the authority concerned.
Upon a query put forth by the Court, Mr. Anil Babu, learned counsel for the Respondents No. 2 and 3 could not offer any explanation as to why the dues of the petitioners have not been paid.
In view of the above, the concerned respondent authority is directed to release/pay the dues to the petitioners after making verification of the work done by them within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order provided there is no legal impediment.
The writ petition stands finally disposed of accordingly.
