In compliance of order dated 21.5.2018, the Vice Chancellor has filed her personal affidavit. It is stated that the marks sheet has already been corrected and the corrected marks sheet has been handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner in the Court, which he has accepted.
As regards incorrect roll number contained in the marks sheet, it is pointed out in the affidavit that on account of certain fault in the computer system at the relevant time, a wrong roll number came to be allotted to the petitioner. According to office note dated 18.12.2002, the said mistake was corrected and it was clarified that the roll number of the petitioner would be 863701 instead of 863709.
Sri Rohit Pandey, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-University states that the aforesaid clarification has also been uploaded on the website of the University and as such according to him, the petitioner would not face any difficulty in future.
Since the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, therefore, nothing further survives for being considered.
The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
