1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioner.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:
"(i) a suitable writ, order, or, direction in the nature of certiorari calling for the record of the case and to quash the impugned order dated 26.5.1998 passed by the District Inspector of Schools, Shahjahanpur, (Annexure 13 to the present writ petition) and this Hon'ble Court may further be pleased to quash the order dated 7.4.1998 passed by the Director of Education (Secondary) U.P. at Allahabad.
(ii) a suitable writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to interfere in the peaceful functioning of the petitioner as Assistant Teacher in L.T. Grade at Kakori Shaheed Inter College, Jalalabad, District Shahjahanpur and further be pleased to ensure payment of salary to the petitioner in L.t. Grade alongwith all the arrears and current salary alongwith other teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution, Kakori Shaheed Inter College, Jalalabad, District Shahjahanpur."
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
