Heard learned counsel for the parties.
It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the basic prayer as made in the present petition is not being changed/altered and only time for appearance of the petitioner has been sought for the reasons stated in the time extension application. It is, thus, prayed that two weeks further time may be granted to the petitioner for appearance before the court below pursuant to the earlier order of this Court dated 12.10.2017. It is further contended that this is the first time extension application moved on behalf of the petitioner for grant of extension of time.
Accordingly, the time extension application no. 1 of 2018 is allowed.
As prayed, two weeks further time, from today, is granted to the petitioner to appear and surrender before the court below pursuant to the earlier order of this Court dated 12.10.2017. In case, the petitioner does not appear before the court below within the aforesaid extended period, no further time shall be granted.
