Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
Grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents authorities under a contract made the petitioner to carry out job work of painting and white washing in 2016 but till date payment has not been made.
Let an interim mandamus be issued to the respondent no. 3, District Magistrate, Auraiya to either make payment to the petitioner of the entire amount due along with 18% simple interest per annum on the delayed payment i.e. from the date the amount became due till actual payment within three weeks from today or show cause by filing counter affidavit within the same period.
