When the matter was listed on 16.04.2014, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner herein, as such, this Court adjourned the matter by a week and on 23.04.2014 also as none appeared for the petitioner, this Court directed the matter to be listed for dismissal after vacation. Today also, in the pre-lunch session, when the matter was called none appeared, as such, this Court passed over the matter and when the matter is called at 2:15 P.M there is no appearance for the petitioner.
In the circumstances, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
