The petitioners, who are defendants in Original Suit No.13 of 2019, claim to have filed an application 30-C for grant of temporary injunction in their favour. The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide the application on the next date.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that on 13.7.2019, the court fixed 26.7.2019 for disposal of the applications 6-Ga and 30- Ga, the injunction applications filed by the plaintiffs and defendants respectively. On 26.7.2019, the court fixed 21.8.2019 for disposal of the above referred applications.
According to counsel for the petitioners, both the applications are still pending.
Having regard to the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide both the applications expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
