JUDGMENT / ORDER

A.Hariprasad, J.
These petitions are filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking early disposal of O.P (Div.) Nos.2205/2012 and 2204/2012 pending before Family Court, Ernakulam. As directed by this Court, the learned Judge, Family Court, Ernakulam has submitted reports in both cases. It is mentioned in the reports that the total pendency of cases in the Family Court, Ernakulam is 4,336. The target fixed for the year is about 1000 cases. Further, the Family Court is directed to dispose 28 cases within a time frame. Considering all these aspects in the report, we are of the view that it may not be feasible to direct the Family Court, Ernakulam to dispose of the matter in a time bound manner. However, we make it clear, O.P (F.C) Nos.275 & 276 of 2014 2 considering the fact that O.P's are of the year 2012, the Family Court, Ernakulam shall dispose of them as expeditiously as possible. With this observation, these petitions are closed.
