Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri D.K. Tiwari, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The limited relief pressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the claim petition dated 17th May, 2016 under the Farmer Accidental Insurance Scheme is pending before the District Magistrate, Allahabad (Annexure-3 to the petition) may be directed to be disposed of within a fixed time frame.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we dispose of this petition with a direction to respondent no.3, District Magistrate, Allahabad to take an appropriate decision on the pending claim petition of the petitioner, referred to above, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
