The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the respondents for disobedience of the order dated 04.04.2018 passed in Writ Petition No.8406 of 2018 (Manju Gupta v. State of U.P. & Ors.).
In response to the order dated 28.03.2019, Shri K.R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has placed the instruction dated 12.04.2019 sent by Superintendent of Police, Prayagraj and submits that in the present matter after completing the investigation, the chargesheet has been submitted before the appropriate Court on 07.05.2018. The said instruction be taken on record.
The Court has proceeded to peruse the record in question and finds that substantial compliance has been ensured in the matter and as such, no interference is required in the matter.
In view of the above, nothing further survives in the contempt application and the same stands disposed of. Notices, if any, stand discharged.
