Heard learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Neeraj Upadhyay, the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel who has appeared on instructions.
From the instructions placed on the record, it is evident that the applicant is accused in more than thirty criminal cases and that there are serious allegations of him having tampered with evidence and having pressurized the witnesses in the cases in which he stands arraigned.
The Court is of the considered opinion that the issue has been dealt with on merits by the opposite party. Therefore nothing further survives on this petition, which shall consequently stand dismissed.
