Naik, HCGP) This Criminal Revision Petition is filed under Section 397 r/w 401 of Cr.P.C praying to set aside the order dated 02.07.2018 in Spl.C.C.No.575/2015 passed by the Hon’ble LIV Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru City (CCH-55), sitting at Child Friendly Court, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4, 6, 8 of POCSO Act and Section 376 of Indian Penal Code.
This Criminal Revision Petition coming on for Admission, this day the Court made the following:-
O R D E R The learned High Court Government Pleader is directed to take notice for the respondent.
After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned High Court Government Pleader for some time, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he will urge all the grounds during the course of the trial and he will not pursue the present criminal revision petition, he may be permitted to withdraw.
With the said liberty, the learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to withdraw the petition.
Accordingly, this revision petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
In view of dismissal of the petition, IA No.1/2018 does not survive for consideration and accordingly, it is dismissed.
