The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 3(1)(r) and (s) and 3(2) (v a) of SC/ST (POA) Amendment Act, 2015 r/w 324 and 506(i) IPC.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Sessions Judge for SC/ST, Erode is directed to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider the bail application on the petitioner on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and pass suitable orders, in the event of the petitioner's surrendering before the said court within 15 days from today and filing of petition seeking bail.
5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
