JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner herein is involved as accused in two cases. One case is pending before the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Perumbavoor, and the other is before the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Changanassery. He has already obtained orders releasing him on bail, but he is not in a position to execute bond before the two courts, because he has only one set of sureties having revenue receipts. They are his mother and his sister. His grievance is that if they produced the revenue receipts in one court, the other court will not accept copy of the revenue receipts, and thus he will be denied the benefit of bail granted by the other court. I find that, in the interest of justice, the sureties can be permitted to produce the revenue receipts in one case, and file affidavit to that effect in the other court. They can also produce copy of the title deed, if any, along with the affidavit before the other court. Just because he is not in a position to bring so many sureties, he cannot be denied the benefit of bail, if he is otherwise entitled for bail. With the above observations this Crl.M.C is closed.
