JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner, alleging that he has been falsely implicated by the respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) I.P.C. r/w Section 3(1) of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act 1984 r/w Sections 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015, seeks a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Vellore, Vellore District/ Special Judge for SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act to consider and dispose of his bail application that will be filed by him under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day of his surrender before him in connection with Cr.No. 19 of 2017 on the file of the respondent. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.
3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is prepared to surrender before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Vellore, Vellore District/ Special Judge for SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Vellore, Vellore District/ Special Judge for SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioner along with his surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders.
The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
