Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the 1st Respondent to produce the body of the detenue, Jayalakshmi, aged about 29 years, wife of Manigandan, now kidnapped and under the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent and set the detenue at liberty forthwith.

NAGAMUTHU,J.,) Alleging that the petitioner's wife Mrs.Jayalakshmi, aged about 29 years has been found missing from 19.01.2017. Since, the detenue was so far not secured by the respondent Police, the petitioner is before this Court with this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2.Today, both the petitioner and the detenue have appeared before this Court. The detenue has returned to home and now expressed her willingness to live with the petitioner. The same is recorded. Thus, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
