Heard Shri K.M. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioners, Shri Sujit Kumar Rai, learned counsel for the respondent no.3 and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent no.1, 2 & 4.
According to the petitioners they have been selected for appointment on the post of Cadre Secretary by the Selection Committee on 05.10.2017 (Annexure-1 to the writ petition) but no appointment letter has been issued to them till date.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties with a direction to the respondent no.3, Member Secretary, District Administrative Committee, Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Societies, Centralized Services, District Firozabad to examine the matter in accordance with law within a period of 15 days from the date a certified copy of this order is received in his office and if the petitioners are found to have been selected in terms of the selection process dated 05.10.2017, the appointment letter shall be issued to them within a further period of 15 days.
