JUDGMENT / ORDER

When the contempt petition was taken up today, no one appeared for the petitioner.
2. This Court, on 27.7.2015, while allowing the writ petition by setting aside the impugned Form 9 dated 11.6.2015 issued by the District Registrar (Housing), Salem Region, directed the respondent to pass orders quantifying the balance loan amount to be paid by the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of the order with a further direction to the petitioner to pay the balance amount to be quantified thereon by the respondent.
3. Pursuant thereto, a memo dated 1.2.2017 has been filed by the learned Special Government Pleader on behalf of the respondent stating that the order passed by this Court to quantify the balance amount due and payable by the petitioner has been duly complied with by the respondent and a copy of the proceedings dated 23.1.2017 has also been sent to the petitioner under speed post. Recording the memo dated 1.2.2017, this contempt petition stands closed.
