The petitioner has approached this Court with the grievance that his candidature is not being examined pursuant to advertisement made for appointment to the post of Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering pursuant to a notification issued by the respondent - Commission on 20th September, 2017. A prayer is made to direct the respondents to consider petitioner's claim for appointment.
Sri V.P. Varshaney who has entered appearance on behalf of Commission on the basis of instructions obtained submits that there were initially shortcomings in petitioner's candidature, inasmuch as, he had not furnished all requisite records relating to his credentials. However, such materials have been furnished by petitioner on 17th October, 2018 in prescribed format and thereafter the Commission has also recommended petitioner's claim for appointment to the Government on 6th December, 2018. The instructions furnished by the Commission is taken on record.
In view of the statement made on behalf of Commission that petitioner's claim has already been forwarded, no further grievance survives.
It goes without saying that the State Government shall pass necessary orders in respect of petitioner's claim pursuant to the recommendation made by the Commission, at the earliest possible.
Subject to the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
