Heard Shri Vishnu Pratap, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The petitioner had applied for mining lease of silica sand over Plot No. 1 area 37 acres in Village Chhatehara Ghurehtha, Tehsil Bara, District Allahabad which is stated to be pending since 16.1.2017 and no orders have been passed.
In case such an application under the U.P. Minor Minerals (Concession) Rules, 1963 has been filed in accordance with law and is still pending before the District Magistrate/District Officer-respondent no. 2, the same be considered and decided in accordance with law, as far as possible, within three months from the date a certified copy of this order is presented before the authority concerned.
With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
