1. Heard Sri Aalok Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 to 3.
2. It is contended that petitioner's name has wrongly been mentioned in the High School marks-sheet and certificate as "Manish Kumar" and his date of birth has also been mentioned as "08.07.1990" though his name ought to be "Manish Chaudhary" and his correct date of birth is "08.07.2002". It is also stated that seeking aforesaid correction, a letter dated 15.05.2018 (Annexure 4 to the writ petition) has also been forwarded by Principal of the College to respondent no.2 but till date no final decision has been taken by Competent Authority.
3. Learned Standing Counsel states that final decision will be taken by the respondents at the earliest.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally directing competent authority to decide aforesaid letter/representation within a period of one month from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
