Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Awadhesh Kumar Saxena, learned counsel for the Electricity Department- respondents.
Against the electricity dues the petitioner has filed this writ petition and submits that he had taken a 7.5 H.P. tube well connection, but without any connection bills are being generated.
In the counter affidavit a clear stand has been taken by the Electricity Department that the petitioner was given connection and the same was generated on 4.7.2007 being Connection No. 5332/016727 and in spite of various reminders being sent the bills have not been paid. This fact has been admitted by the petitioner in the rejoinder affidavit.
That being the case, connection having been given to the petitioner and generated, the petitioner is liable to pay the bills. However, if he disputes the bills, he can always approach the Executive Engineer for redressal of his grievance.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
