This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief :
“ … to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the notification No.2 dated 10-10-2014 issued by 2nd respondent as arbitrary, illegal, and also in violation of Art. 14 & 21 of Constitution of India consequently by setting aside the same direct the 2nd respondent herein to re-notify the newly and existing vacancies strictly as per reservation policy and also rotation system taking into consideration of existing vacancies under the 2nd respondent …”
At the hearing, Sri P. Sridhar Rao, learned Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that as per his information, the impugned notification itself has been withdrawn and that therefore there is no necessity for the petitioner to pursue the Writ Petition.
In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous.
As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.39465 of 2014 filed for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
