JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is accused in Crime No.47 of 2014 of the Kottarakara Excise Range Office for the offence punishable under Section 55(i) of the Kerala Abkari Act for alleged possession of IMFL for sale on 05.05.2014, is in custody since then and seeks bail.
2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application.
3. It is submitted that 1.600 liters of IMFL was seized from the possession of the petitioner on the relevant day. He is also involved in Crime Nos.71 of 2005 and 50 of 2013 for offences under the Abkari Act.
4. Learned counsel submitted that the allegations are not true.
5. Having regard to the circumstances request for bail cannot be allowed at this stage. Application is dismissed without prejudice to the petitioner moving again either in this Court or the Sessions Court at a later stage.
