ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside proceedings in Letter/Notice No.576/A3/13 dated 10.07.2014 of respondent No.3, whereby he has called for the petitioners’ explanation to the objections raised by the neighbouring land owners for carrying on aquaculture.
The petitioners have pleaded that in response to the above-mentioned notice, they have submitted explanation on 17.07.2014 and that while their applications for renewal of permission are pending, they are unduly prevented from carrying on aquaculture.
Though time has been taken, no counter-affidavit has been filed by the official respondents.
Inasmuch as the impugned proceeding is in the nature of a show-cause notice and the petitioners are stated to have submitted their explanation to the said show-cause notice, respondent No.3 is directed to consider the said explanation of the petitioners, pass appropriate order and communicate the same to them within two weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
Subject to the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
As a sequel to the disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.32068 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
