JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action to restrain the fourth respondent from conducting ?Manju Virattu? scheduled to be conducted on 15.01.2017, in Kallipattu Village, Sembanur Post, Thirupattur Taluk, Sivagangai District.
2. Mr. K.P.Krishna Doss, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. Mr.V.Kannan, learned counsel takes notice for the fourth respondent.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent would submit that there is no proposal for conducting any ?Manju Virattu? in the Kallipattu village, as alleged by the petitioner in this petition.
5. Recording the above statement of the learned counsel for the fourth respondent, nothing survives in this petition and therefore, this petition is dismissed. No costs.
